Wayne Rite
Hi Guys and Gals, I have searched all my reference books even as far back to John Ahern for a method of making the semi circular balance weights for the driving wheels of a SECR L Class 4.4.0 fitted with 27mm Romford wheels. I know the method uses a set of metal dividers, but for the life of me I can't find a reference to the method anywhere. I have a feeling it may be in Ian Rices Book on Chassis Construction which I've temporarily misplaced but if some kind soul can direct me to the method I would be extremely grateful. Keep on RMWebing! Cheers
