RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted June 23, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 23, 2011 Experience sought with model fillers please. Which type/brand recommended ? The problem that I have is finding one that keeps. I've tried 'squadron' brand and green filler from Eileens, even automotive cellulose stopper. But none of these seem to keep very long. I presume that it's to do with the cellulose base evaporating. Any recommendations please.
Pugsley
I've been using Holts Knifing Putty, which appears to be acrylic based rather than cellulose. It works very well, is around 3 quid for a 100g tube and shows no sign of drying up in the tube yet. HTH
