LNERJP
Hi does anyone have any pictures of a BDA wagon underframe, I'm interested in all the air brake pipes for a PRMRP O gauge model. Cheers in advance J.P.

James
What's that wagon used for?!
br2975
What's that wagon used for?! Carrying hot billets from the Celsa (UK) Tremorfa works to the Cardiff Rod Mill (Castle Works). They were bought from EWS in 2005/2006, the floors were removed and bolsters from scrap billet welded on. Subsequently sheet metal floors have been added to the wagons, so such photos are now difficult. Celsa also use three 'bog standard' BDA/BEA wagons to carry reject coils, those haven't even been renumbered. There's a lot more info on my thread on the 'old site' http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24398 Brian R

Boris
Personally I always found it quite fascinating to see that a number of these wagons running in the 21st century still have their horse hooks on them!
