micklner
A very wet day on the MNR last Saturday. King Eddy was in fine form
Adam
The King does look magnificent doesn't it? The cannot be said for the observation car which, by the looks of things, could use both a repaint and decent covered accommodation. Is that only there for the season or permanently? It's good to see the Mid-Norfolk with steam and, I hope, good for their takings, it's a nice little railway. Adam
craigwelsh
I wonder if the paint doesn't stick to the chrome window trimming, as the rest of the paintwork looks to be in good condition. Needs a new BR coach transfer on the front as well but i'd agree the window frames are the issue, maybe they should leave them unpainted like the later aluminium window frames on the mk1s. I wonder if they've got the coal and water usage down yet as the figures on Nat Pres were rather large!
micklner
Paint peel is on the Chrome lining only it . What a shame they never left in Coronation spec, interior was rather bare compared to LNER pics I have seen .
