Keithg
Hi, Can any onehelp please? Myknowledge of CV values and adjusting them is not great, although I have three 0gauge locos fitted with ESU Loksound decoders. As I wanted to fit thesedecoders within the boiler of GWR 57xx Pannier locos I purchased from SouthWest Digital their 1.1amp V3.5 decoder 53561 for 00 Scale. I have via a clubmember adjusted the “chuff†value as recommended by SWD. The other CV valuesremain as shipped. The motor Iam using is Mashima 1833 with a Branchline Gear Box in 40:1 ratio. The slowrunning is great but I would like them to go a “bit faster†on the gardenrailway, so my question is: Can Iadjust any CV values without upsetting my chuff values to improve the speed? Have posted this request on DCC Questions as I was unsure where to ask the question. I look forward to reading your replies for I am sure this type ofquestion has been asked and there must be an answer…..help?? Thank you, regards Keith
Lady_Ava_Hay
It depends to a certain extent what set of CV's are in use for the speed. This could be the three CV's used for start mid and max voltage or it could be a speed table. What is the value in CV29?
