End to End early 1990s NSE?

Okay, question time. This one's a doozy!

 

Can I get away without points anywhere in the layout, save for aesthetics at the end of Sidcup station, by putting in a traverser arrangement at either end of the layout?

 

The idea is, the four coach train goes onto the traverser from the "up" line to London. The traverser moves up so it lines up with the "down" line to Dartford. By moving it up, the next line underneath it lines up with the "up" line. This allows two trains to be stored. Once those two trains have departed - by the first moving back out down the "down" line", and then the second moving up to the "down" line, by the traverser moving up again, and then departing, the traverser moves all the way back down so that its first line is in line with the "down" line again.

 

I may have to do a drawing of this later on, but this could solve a lot of issues RE storage if it's done correctly...!
