Modern Bus Interiors

I want to paint the interior of a few of my busses and need help, what colour should the seats and floors be for the following;

 

First Calderdale double deck in yellow & red livery?

 

First Manchester in white, blue and pink livery?

Might be worth having a look on Flickr - often a search for the registration on Google Images and Flcikr will bring upphotos and with modern vehicles you can often make out colour through the windows.

Try Youtube as well - there are a few videos to be found fimed from inside buses. First move there buses around so I would have thought the interiors would be as corporate identity as the exterior.

can you give me a heads up on what type of bus the blue whitw and pinks are, cause we have similar buses in Leicester and I have pics/vids of interiors.

A typical First corporate interior is pictured here. Recent buses delivered in blue/white/pink livery are likely to have these colours inside - the seats are a sort of pale purple. Some older buses were also painted into this livery so you probably need to do some detailed research on the exact bus you have in mind.

 

First buses in other colours are likely to be inherited from a predecessor company and will probably retain that company's colour scheme inside. Based on a trawl through Wikipedia, a company operating in the area with a red and yellow livery and taken over by First may be Black Prince, taken over in 2005. Google images finds plenty of exterior shots but no interiors, and it looks like they operated a wide range of second-hand buses from many sources so they probably didn't have a standardised interior colour scheme at all. Again some research on a specific bus may be necessary.

Mainline (Sheffield) had a yellow and red livery until consumed by First corporate identity. Interestingly they are apparently going back to local identities.
