sir douglas
hi all, ive recently been reading "Encyclopedia of narrow gauge gauge railways (of great britain and ireland)" by thomas middlemass ISBN: 9781852602703. and on page 49 is a very interesting little engine. but the problem is that the only information about this loco is in the photo caption and nowhere else. it was made by Lilleshall in 1880 and worked the mineral extension on the Glyn valley tramway, and scrapped in 1946. am hoping to make a model of this for my colliery but i cant find any info or photos on the web, can anybody help?
