SquireBev
Evenin' all Does anyone know of any model shops that stock Slater's building materials and plasticard? I realise I can order direct, but I prefer to see before I buy.
chrisf
Squires illustrate the products in their catalogue and offer a most efficient mail order service. Chris

Red Devil
Wakefield Model Centre and Frizinghall Models normally have a good selection of Slaters embossed plasticard, going of your location.
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted August 11, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 11, 2011 I think Slater's own pictures of their products give some idea. Have you looked here? https://slatersplastikard.com/assets/pdfs/EmbossedFlyer.pdf
SquireBev
Wakefield Model Centre and Frizinghall Models normally have a good selection of Slaters embossed plasticard, going of your location. I made my first trip to Frizinghall Models a week or so ago (on foot from the centre of Bradford, too) and couldn't see any. But then, I was distracted by many shiny things. Going again tomorrow so I'll be sure to ask. Will have a look at Wakefield Model Centre too. Trouble with the pictures on Slater's and Squires is that it doesn't give much idea of the relief
TomJ
At Frizinghall it's in a cardboard box on the floor sort of opposite the counter - so easy to get distracted by shiny engines etc!! They've generally got a good selection. It's worth rooting through the box a little but I've always got what I wanted. And come away with some new shiny stuff I didn't intend to buy...... SquireBev
Found it, cheers Will have to make another trip though as I didn't get enough. This retaining wall is going to take a lot more effort than I imagined.
