mullie
Only recently joined RM web and glad to find a section devoted to micro layouts. I still forget occasionally and check Carl Arendt's site for updates! Carl was kind enough to feature my layouts on a number of occasions. Links are as follows: http://carendt.us/sc...ge53/index.html http://carendt.us/scrapbook/page42/ http://carendt.us/sc...ge81/index.html I think my favourite among many has to be 'Brooklyn 3am' at http://carendt.morph...ge87/index.html What a remarkable piece of work. mullie
I was a twit the links as they stand don't really mean anything, it had been a long day! The first link leads to my layout 'Pott Row,' the second to 'Leyton Street' and the third to 'Upbeach St Mary' Sorry for any confusion.

Job's Modelling
Hello, I'm also interested in small layouts. My layout Bridgestreet is 150 cm x 38 cm with just an one track private siding. Love your modelling on your projects Job

mullie
I got my initial inspiration from Carl Arendt's site at http://www.carendt.com/ Part of the site is dedicated to plans and the monthly scrap books do have some good examples plus there are fairly regular features in British magazines depending on your scale and choice of prototype. For me, building smaller layouts is a way of making sure I achieve something and not getting frustrated because I never finish anything. Even though it is still fairly basic it has taken three years to get Pott Row to its current state because of the need to balance hobby with a demanding job and family life
