With a LokSound 3.5, there are four volume controls which do not give full flexibility. For 99% of users, access to the original sound source files is not an option, so "rebuild the project with a LokProgrammer" does not provide a solution. Having accepted that ESU claim it is possible to vary the sound characteristics with LokV4, I have not yet read anywhere, or heard from anyone, how it can be done. Have you? I think the problem is knowing the relevant CV's. Some are documented in the decoder manual - page 50-52 seems most relevant part of the manual, though one needs to know/guess/deduce the sound slot numbers.
