edcayton
The perceived understanding seems to be that H0 came first, and then the UK prototype models had to be made bigger to fit on the mechanisms. My question is who was first to do this, ie a commercial producer or one/a group of individuals? and when did it all begin? Was Hornby Dublo introduced pre- or post-war and was it the first popular application of the scale? I hope this is the right place for this, and I am not aware of a similar topic previously. edcayton
Comprehensive would seem to cover it!! Thank you, that makes interesting (if difficult) reading. I don't know if I'm glad I asked or not! Ed
Coombe Barton
It's difficult reading because it's not very well written or laid out. If it was one of my students it would have got the comment - "it's all there - but you need to write in English."
