RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted October 30, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 30, 2011 Vale of Rheidol 2-6-2 in O16.5 proposal by Dorset Kits I'll declare my association with Kevin as a friend and helper with the stand at shows first Dorset Kits are considering the VoR 2-6-2 tanks in 7mm scale as the next loco kit. If there is sufficient demand then Kevin will go ahead with development which would take approximately 18 months. Kevin is proposing a kit to cover the early and late original locos and GWR built locos too. He would also follow up with the coaches. The kits will be the same spec as the Welshpool & L&M range and allow for conversion to O14. He has roughly half the number needed following ExpoNG so if you are seriously interested then please contact Kevin with your name and address, no deposit. He will leave it open until just after Shepton in February 2012 before he makes the decision of whether to go-ahead.  ( the 18 month Estimate includes this period). Contact details http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/suppliers/430-Dorset_Kits And thanks to Andy for granting permission for the announcement.
