rhiwderin_ray
Hi everyone ! As a new member a post is a bit daunting but here goes. I am currently planning a new layout based upon LMS/LNWR region and am seeking inspiration for atmosphere (Buildings and Townscape). So I thought it would be a good idea to ask others to post photos of their LMS/LNWR layouts here. Many thanks . PS. Seems like a good website. rhiwderin_ray
Sorry, I forgot to mention, my layout is only 8x4 and will model from pre-grouping until BR 'blue' era.

Xerces Fobe2
My Croxley Wiggenhall Road Depot layout is based on a former LMS branch. Here is a photo an ex-LNWR Oerlikon EMU in LMS livery at my Croxley West station. Xerces Fobe

Here is a photo an wx LNWR Oerlikon EMU in LMS livery at my Croxley West station. Xerces Fobe That looks great. Lots of atmosphere. I love your EMU, the footbridge and the little access bridge on the left. Is the footbridge scratchbuilt or a converted kit?
Xerces Fobe2
This is not a footbridge but rather a disused roadway leading to the station's goods yardswhich is hopefully more obvious in the photo below. The EMU is actually an HO scratchbuilt model which is around 60 years old that I purchased from another RMweb member @ 3 years ago. I did however modify it and even fitted with a DCC chip!. I have many more EMU's including Class 501, LMS Compartent Stock either built or under construction; check out my websites for more details http://www.croxleywi...t.co.uk/myblog/ http://croxleywiggen...e.orange.co.uk/ XF
