Mr Iceman
Job, will you be putting lights in the buildings? I use the strings of lights you get for £1 from bargain shops then use as many as needed off each string to light my buildings. They run off 2 batteries and give off a realistic light. This coupled with low wattage bulbs for lighting the layout can get great effect using a dimmer switch. This is 1 of a row of shops I have used the £1 lights in (now use a multi voltage addaptor to power them at 3v) http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/51454-1-12-shops/page__fromsearch__1
Job's Modelling
I have used a traditional bulb light in the fish & chips shop. Never tried led light. I think I only will use lights in the future if its needed, and I than will have lighting in the streetlamps as well. Modelling in the late fifties means, I believe, people only used light when necessary. Regards, Job
