simon47603
Hi Guys, This morning at around 09.45, I was sitting on the M5 car park, by Bescot. A Class 70 on a Coal train entered the yard from the North, passing a stabled Freightliner Coal train, with a 66 on front. Would anyone know what these two were by Chance? And where they were off to? Many thanks Simon

60026to
I am usually lucky enough to see either a stabled FL 66/70 or a departing loaded coal train at Portbury most mornings (before 5 am). Yesterday we had something a little out of the ordinary a DRS 66 on the coal, no idea of the number or working though.

chriswild
hi the 66 could well have been from/to rugeley p.s. Depending on where they've originated they run-round in the empties in the non dbs area of bescot and run via sutton park line, i think all coal into rugeley is now FLHH hauled, class 70 hauled trains into rugeley were common when they were first introduced but i suppose it depends where the coal is loaded.
