Just got back from a super show. Something for everyone!

Despite being a diesel lover, what stole the show for me was the world war 1 layout 'behind the front line'. Brilliant detailing on a sad part of our history.

As is usual lots of things to buy with very little to spend!!

To echo the above comments, a really good variety of layouts, some pretty unusual, like the WWI one above, the self-running Swiss one with a marmot, German and US timber lines nearly backing onto one another, and some a bit more mainstream like Kirkby Stephen, with the rivet-counter detector van in operation, and some good early diesel prototypes (in the northern "Fells" I suppose).

Good fruitcake in the cafe too.

Big thanks to the organisers.
