steve1023
Hey guys. Whilst tuned into the Villa v Liverpool game on Sky Sports at half-time there was a new Hornby advert on TV - something I haven't seen for a long time. It starts with an old single circuit track in black and white (larger scale than OO) and then works through the ages to a modern day large OO scale layout. I didn't see which trains where running on the last layout because I just focused on the NSE liveried 4VEP (it wasn't running). It finishes with the Hornby group logos (scalextric, corgi etc) but the ad only features model trains. The last Hornby advert I saw on TV was back in the seventies or eighties with a man shrunk down to stand on the back of a 20ton brake van hiding from a large cat. I'm sure its on You Tube somewhere. A man shrunk down !.....That was no less than the Great British institution, Bernard Cribbins... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Cribbins http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6aUetZ_KPg&feature=related[url/]
