DonB
I'm looking for a circuit, or book with ideas, for a simple auto control of an out-and-back line. The requirements are :- slow start, accelerate, steady speed, decelerate, stop (variable pause), reverse direction, repeat sequence. I envisage that the accelerate / decelerate sections will have rail breaks at appropriate positions. I did have a pocket-sized book with "circuits for model railways" some years ago, but fear that it fell foul of one of the edicts to have a "clear-out of some of this junk" Any advice appreciated. Kenton
Sounds like the perfect use of a number of units from Heathcoate Electronics range - not exactly DIY but would give more time to spend on other layout details.
DonB
Kenton,,,,Thanks for the swift response. Didn't know of them! I have to say that "layout" is probably overstating things for the project in mind. I still fancy building the electronic gubbins myself, if I can find a circuit.
