Rick_Skateboard
Hello All. Bit of an odd one, I wasn't sure which forum to put this into. Would it be possible to make locos 'free rolling' enough to be dragged around with their wheels turning? I'm thinking 7mm scale steam locos on a shed layout where the pilot loco comes in and moves the other locos about. I'm sure I saw something like this once, perhaps Portescap motors and low resistance gearboxes? Roller bearings? Cheers, Rick

Charlie
Err isn't this a repeat of what you posted earlier? Shall we get it merged to save confusion?
Rick_Skateboard
Yes, I missed the thing about it being checked by a moderator first, so I thought I'd not posted it. (I've also only just noticed it's been moved to a different forum!). Interesting link Paul, looks like those ABC gearboxes are the way to go. Thanks!
