Nostalgia for a better performer than Tulyar, perhaps...? Or to confuse the uninitiated young spotters? Recreating long withdrawn locos seems to be the rage these days and a bit of harmless fun. I can't see the point myself - it's still the same loco and a new nameplate and numbers can't change that, but if it raises money for preservation then who am I to object..
