squeaky
Having problems laying your track, not quite straight, you don't think it looks realistic? Don't worry it can't be as bad as this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g11qWro1LzQ&list=FL_zg7SsrI_PVkha0Dj0IsLA&index=1&feature=plpp_video
F-UnitMad
I'm sure this has been posted up before, but it is a good clip. There have been attempts to replicate this sort of track in model form too, but it's difficult as our models don't have the suspension (or weight!) to negotiate really bad track like this. I tried it myself (although nowhere as dramatic as the OP clip!) on my layout "Schiller Point", which works quite well in O Scale - hand-spiked Code 100 rail on balsa ties:- Pictured before ballasting.... One thing I would say is that to appreciate it best, track like this needs to be viewed almost "head-on". The effect is virtually lost with a side-on view, which is the most common view of model layouts.
