Gordon A
I am temporarily straying from P4 to American 0N30, having purchased a Bachman Forney 2-4-4. Where can I get some suitable crew members, and other figures for American '0' gauge, pre second world war era? Gordon Bristol
Guest 009matt
Try Falcon, I believe he has just released a range of these, that might even fit in specific locos. Masterpiece Falcon Figures 20, Millvale Meadows, Milland, Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7LZ Falcon Figures have been producing detailed character railway figures in both 4mm and 7mm scales for over 10 years. All figures are produced in lead free pewter and are available painted or unpainted. Our range offers railway modellers a wide range of poses for cab crews in both OO and O scales, as well as other railway figures. RMweb Premium Mike Bellamy Posted December 8, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 8, 2009 Hi Gordon Have a look at Paul Martin's site for EDM Models. He imports the Mountain Blue range from Australia. They are 1/4inch 1:48 and so will match your Bachmann On30 stock. Although they originate in Australia almost all could be used in an American setting. They are illustrated here http://www.ngtrains.com/Pages/Moutain_Blue/figures.htm Paul also stocks Bachmann as well as many other hard to find items that he gets direct from USA. Some are limited editions and so I would recommend signing up for the monthly newsletter so that you know what's due in. I have to declare an interest here as I help Paul with his trade stand at a few shows. I see you are in Bristol - please come and see us at the Shepton Mallet narrow gauge show on 20th February Mike
Adrian Wintle
Woodland Scenics makes some O scale engineers, mechanics, train crew, and various other figures. I'd guess that most of them are more applicable to the late '40s to mid '60s, though. Adrian
