I find that even with 40 you shouldnt need to actually cut all the way through. usually a deep score is enough then bend and snap. You have to bend it quite a bit to get windows out but the stuff is very forgiving as bouncing back so it does work.

I've found that not cutting through plasticard, but effectively scoring, bending and snapping, can sometimes leave a ragged tear and damage on the non-cut side - so I don't recommend that now and prefer to cut completely through for a nice clean cut edge on both sides.

Oh thats odd, never had that happened and used several brands.
