Allegheny1600
Hmmm! Looks like a few of us might be moving up there! Hope the weathers as good as it looks! Seriously - that's a smashing layout Mal! What is the CSX switcher in "Dark Future", please - it looks really smart! Cheers, John E.
Alcanman
Thanks John, The weather has been as sunny as the pic today, however, there was also a lot of frost this morning. The switcher in YN3 'Dark Future' paint is an Athearn Genesis MP15AC with DCC sound. Mal
Alcanman
More sunny weather has prompted me to get out the camcorder and head for Deerfield Beach to check out more switching action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xaalX4vOk8 Enjoy, Mal
HAL 'O THE WYND
What I said about Palmetto applies, but the latter is an easier first shot, as a break when Scotsward Road becomes overwhelming. 'Though I can't see it as SR is basically a large switching layout built around a large - in domestic model terms - goods and marshalling yard. I'll describe it on site. But I do fancy a change of scenery from time to time... Hal.
