Help me find roller gauges!

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I have some problem finding roller gauges for 16.5 mm Code 70 with a RP25 profile.

I ordered some from a company in the US, but they seem to be dodgy as they have taken the money and don't reply on mail.....

If anyone can help me I would be very happy!!

Thanks!

I actually received the US gauges today! :scratchhead:

The reason why they don't answer emails is beyond me though.....

The gauges are made from lucite (or similar), and isn't so good for soldering nearby....

I hope Debs can sort it out for me.... :sungum:

Another thing that has me wondering is the instructions I got with the RE rollers...

He mentions that they are made to the flangeway dimensions of the NMRA gauge?!?

And that the reason for that is that the track gauge from NMRA is to wide in gauge?

Is there a truth to it?

I certainly don't want to build 30 turnouts to the wrong specs......

This guy, right?

What you say is not quite what he says......his views are similar to OO-SF.

Best, Pete.

Yes, that's the guy.

This is what he states:

I think he might be right, but as I said; it wouldn't be fun to build 30 turnouts to the wrong specs....

I've been in contact with Debs, and she might be able to help. :locomotive:

The OO-SF. Is that the same as 16.2 mm gauge?
