royaloak
Looking at the holes they pinched the buffers as well! I know it doesnt have any. Just another thieving sc--bag out to make a couple of quid but costing the railway £100s.
Ohmisterporter
A sad reflection on our times I am afraid, perhaps a glass fibre dome with a shiny brass coating is the way to go.
Michael Delamar
shouldnt really have to though Geoff but I know where your coming from. what a B**** shame! hope it turns up. lovely loco, looks like it hads plenty of hard work and hours put into it, then this. AMJ
The photo of the loco on the Leeds Engine site (link in my sig) has it with a painted black dome. So perhaps it's just another easily removed metal object gone to a scrap man. Does it say a lot there is one scrap man in the Wakefield area that advertises with pictures of glamour models on large billboards.
Heruss
Such a shame. I'm from Swad where Jack lived for it's working life. (John Knowles Number 4 is my avatar) I saw him out of steam a few years back now. Beautiful locomotive.
