amdaley
Still on the subject of International Models. A few years ago I bought a good lot of Merkur Styroplast retaining walls from them. Now that International Models have gone can anyone advise where I can get more of these retaining walls. The Model number I am interested in is Dark Grey Retaining Walls 501011 ? Any information would be gratefully received. Many thanks. Still on the subject of International Models. A few years ago I bought a good lot of Merkur Styroplast retaining walls from them. RMweb Premium Legend Posted July 12, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 12, 2015 Yes I got the brown retaining walls. Good product, reasonable cost. I'm wondering who will stock them now
amdaley
Sherwoods & Modellers Mecca have them but they seem very expensive. I can never remember them being that price £9 ? EDIT: They seem to be much cheaper from Germany. http://www.merkur-styroplast.de/MERKUR-Styroplast:.:1.html Edited July 12, 2015 by amdaley

dagrizz
I've previously used backscenes from International Models and am now looking to buy some more. Following the demise of the company does anyone know if the range has been bought by anyone else? Failing that, does anyone else make similar backscenes I could buy. I want photographic backscenes, not painted, and would like to examine ranges produced for OO and N. Thanks in advance Graham

dagrizz
Visited Tony's Trains in Rugby today and bought a sheet of Gaugemaster photographic backscene. It's marketed for N gauge but I'm going to try it on my OO layout to give a more distant feel to the landscape. Thanks for your help Graham
