RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted June 3, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks for those. A pal of mine went to the show but his pics hadn't arrived as of last night so it will be interesting to see what caught his eye out of that lot. And i understand they had a fireworks display in the evening - now there's an idea for Ally Pally or Doncaster!!
RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted June 3, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks for that David. It;s good to see some pics from down under. I was hoping to see Harold from Modratec in the background somewhere but wondered whether Short Cross was his demo layout as it had sots of signals and what appeared to be a lever frame in the background. dave_long
The Coorparoo layout looks nice, decent looking overhead equipment. Was short cross some form of computer control demo, it just looks a little odd with a transparent baseboard...
DavidB-AU
Coorparoo is extremely well done and the third offering from the group who model real locations on the Queensland narrow gauge. Short Cross is a demo of using Modratec mechanically interlocking frames. Cheers David
