mike morley
I made a fairly lengthy face for a loading bank from strips of Wills random stone sheet and joined them together by hot-glueing them to an 8mm x 8mm wooden strip provided by the stick of a November 5th rocket. The rocket stick has since warped all over the place and as a fair bit of work went into splicing the strips of Wills sheet together so the joins didn't show I would prefer to try and salvage them rather than start all over again. The trouble is, I can't unstick the hot glue. I know that freezing things can make glue brittle enough to shatter without affecting whatever it is stuck to, but this is just a tad too long to fit in my freezer. Has anyone any other suggestions? JeffP
Short of warming it, I don't think it does unstick. It'sthermal softening, so try some boiling water on one end?
