grahame
What type/kind of roof vents and buffers do I need for the Brighton Belle EMU in it's refurbished blue/grey livery. And are any available in N gauge? Many thanks in advance for any help. GRAHAME.
Lyddrail
Grahame, Buffers are Self Contained SR EMU buffers, used up to 4SUBs and most early mainline types. Roof vents are a one off type as far as I know but may be a Pullman design on other coaches. Hope this helps.
grahame
Buffers are Self Contained SR EMU buffers, used up to 4SUBs and most early mainline types. Damn, I thought so. And I'm pretty sure no-one makes them in N/2mm, double damn (unless anyone knows better). Roof vents are a one off type as far as I know but may be a Pullman design on other coaches. . Cheers for the info, but treble damn. I've found it difficult to find a clear decent picture of one to see what would be the closest type to get. All the photos seem to be taken at ground or platform level. Does anyone have, or know of a suitable pic? Or perhaps someone could photo the roof of the Hornby OO blue/grey Brighton Belle. G.
