Rail-Online
Hi, I have some work to do on my LNER suburbans, anyone managed to get them apart? The bogie steps are very fragile and it is probably a good idea to remove them before even attempting to get the bogies off, but even then they will not budge! Tony Lever out the bogies quite hard, by doing it from the inner end rather than the side. Then you will see four clips from the glazing, and there additional unseen ones in the middle of each side Chris Higgs
micklner
If your removing the body?, it will be easier to remove the bogies afterwards from above.
