I wondered if anyone new the level of UK manufacture, i.e. printing, weathering, painting, assembling etc., And what sort of work force numbers would you think they may have at the plant in Chirk. St. Simon Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Hi, I believe that the 'OO' wagons such as the open plank wagons and such (e.g. not the modern intermodel / china clay / department wagons) are still produced at Chirk in Wales.
