robmcg Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 This might sound odd but I am finding it difficult to unearth a seller of 00 16.5mm pre-assembled bullhead-rail track for airmail in short lengths to New Zealand... with bullhead rail depicting 75-95lb/yard weight as might been seen in a works or engine shed location. preferably wooden sleepers but will be painted and ash and ballast .might disguise sleepers a bit! Only about 10 feet needed but any stout package of what would be 45 or 60 foot lengths would do, or even around double that if longer = stronger package. 12-15" each perhaps? The package would preferably go by tracked royal mail and I would course pay reasonable costs for p & p. Apologies if I have asked this question in the wrong place, or failed to see any obvious seller like C&L or SMP offering such track in small cut quantities. As well as selling rail in individual lengths C&L sells the sleeper track bases seperately in short lengths for you to thread on the rail.
