45568
Topic title says it all really! I will be visiting UK between those dates, currently have SVR/NYMR/GCR Autumn steam festivals booked in. Where might I find the two locos. mentioned between those dates? Never seen them, just want to! TIA, Cheers, Peter C.
Bon Accord
Peter, Morayshire (D49) can be found at her permanent base at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, situated about 20 miles to the West of Edinburgh on the Southern shore of the River Forth. She's currently 'in ticket' and is in regular use on the line. As for the K4, I'm afraid I can't help there. She's nominally based at Thornton together with 60009, however is most likely to be out and about.
Ed-farms
The K4 is currently working around the north-west from Carnforth doing day trips for West Coast Railway. There has been talk of a visit to the NYMR to do some of the Whitby runs but nothing official yet, fingers crossed it will as I love that engine.
