I am dismantling a 5m x 1.7m OO gauge layout based around Aberthaw as it was on the South Glam Railway. I have planned the new layout which will be on two levels with a twin track mainline on the Wales English border to allow mixed traffic pkus a branch line to run the push pulls and small freight trains. I fitted the original track with pva glued ballast on cork and it was always noisy! I shall try the Copydex solution I found on this site - thank you! I'm a great Copydex fan myself, and I am sure someone will advise you whether PVA can be softened enough to remove track. Enjoy your new home!
