'Bittern' & 'Britannia' passing Tigley this afternoon

'Bittern' and 'Britannia' worked a Euston to Plymouth charter train today - here are the pair storming up Tigley Bank about an hour ago:

The pair return later this afternoon, passing Totnes at 16/42.

I would have loved to see either of these loco's by themselves, but to me, as a pair, they just look plain silly

Not silly to me, Ed. They look magnificent and in fine fettle. But kinda out of place on the Devon Banks, a Churchward classic being preferable. Still, very enjoyable!
