Chris Higgs
Can anyone tell me whether Class 26 diesels received wraparound yellow ends before the cab door windows were plated over? I have seen photos of Class 27 like this, but everthing I have found of Class 26 have plated doors.

Chris Higgs
some in brush veteran's flickr site early 70s and still in 53xx numbers edit: just found this 26024 aberdeen 9/75 on flickr by brian daniels Thanks. I'm going to repaint a Heljan 26 with the wraparound yellow, and it looks like 5327 is the one to go for as it has the correct combination of cab sliding window and tablet catcher recess.
