forest2807
Just a few photos to show one of the latest items to have visited my workbench. The loco was a battered secondhand example; the innards (chassis block, motor and bogie towers) have found their way into a rebuilt Hornby Class 29 while the resprayed body was mounted on a spare pair of bogies without a motor. The name transfers were made for me by Rail-tec. Thanks for those Steve. The chassis needs some weathering as does the roof, and some hoses on the bufferbeams are next on the list. forest2807
Pete beat me to it Jim! I got in touch with Steve at Rail-tec about making these transfers and he couldn't have been more helpful. I thoroughly recommend him/them. PS thanks for the positive comments! You say in your description that you had the transfers made by Rail-tec, are these guy's still around? Every time I try to get into there web page I get access denied and so does another modeller here in Oz! Any suggestions???? I would like to get the same transfers ASAP as I am preparing the same model for a present. Regards Simon Phillip Island Australia.

As an Australian, I can get into the Railtec site (http://www.railtec-models.com/index.php) with no problems, and the transfers are listed avalible, as part number 4mm-1102 (http://www.railtec-models.com/showitem.php?id=1169). Hope these work for you Simon, and welcome to RMweb
forest2807
I think Steve at Rail-tec made these available after he had done the work in creating the transfer for me. Makes sense to market it.
