Brian Indge Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 I thought a shopping trip into Saffron Walden today would give me the chance to spend some time in Walden Models in Gold Street, so you can imagine my surprise that since my last visit in May the shop had closed and a Hairdressers had taken it's place. Sadly the owner, George, died nearly two years ago, and his wife couldn't cope with the commuting (they lived in North London).
