will5210
Hi all, I'm currently sketching out a scheme for a 1938-40ish layout based on Fort William Engine shed & Goods yard for one end of my loft ( roughly 8ft wide) I've found a decent 1948 aerial shot too but was just wondering if anyone had any other details from the LNER days. I've found a few pics here & there but none of the original turntable from this era. Could it have been a similar one to the 50 footer at Crianlarich? I do know a new 70ft Cowans one was installed in 1948 (which now resides at Kidderminster apparently). Cheers
