Marcyg
I've finally got to the painting stage for my Class 81 project. However, I don't own an airbrush. Wouldn't even know how to use one! I tried to buy an aerosol rail blue from JLTRL, but they don't make it anymore. Any ideas where I can get a rattle can for this colour?
RMweb Gold RedgateModels Posted October 30, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 30, 2012 You could try this: http://www.phoenix-paints.co.uk/precision-paints/railway-colours/post-1948-colours/colours-for-british-railways-the-nationalised-railway/p102-b-r-steam-locomotive-light-blue-1949-1981.html someone else might come along with a Halfords car paint colour that might be close .... duff man
I use rail match BR blue. its easy to use. I find the best results are got by warming the can in warm water and don"t try to spray on a cold day if you need to work outside. Craig.
