RMweb Gold Davidjsmith Posted November 10, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 10, 2012 Help needed my Bachman 47 fitted with southwest digital sound.Not had my test layout out for a while & the loco worked last time.Now no response from loco but on program track try to check settings & it keep shorting out?Anyone got any ideas took body off nothing obvious is wrong? P4Frank Posted November 12, 2012 Share Posted November 12, 2012 Difficult, I would be inclined to disconnect the sound decoder and revert it to DC first and test if that works. If it does try a cheap decoder and see if that operates. Obviously the more costly option would be a decoder tester. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
