Class 47 fans,

Trying to compile a list of PISA class 47 locomotives allocated to the Inverness depot during 1990. I understand Inverness had a lot of visiting class 47s, I remember 47306, 47518 and 47630 dropping in and out regularily. Any help would be most appriciated. Even regular visitors would be helpful.

Stephen.

In 1989 some of the Inverness allocation were DCHA whereas the majority were PXXA so I don't know if Chard's list are all PISA locos or not. My Rail Magazines only go up to number 100 in mid 1989 and I haven't got a Platform 5 Combined for 1990 so I'm sorry but I can't help more.

By Spring 1991 all the 47's had gone from IS and only 37's remained in the PISA pool.
