Clagmeister
Hi, Thinking of going to Germany next October and will be getting the train from Berlin to Eisenach. Timetable says its IC. I believe they can be units or loco hauled. How would I find out, would like loco hauled if I could. On a more general note, where can you find information on loco hauled IC/EC trains in Germany/Europe. thanks in advance Claggy
Taigatrommel
If it's IC, it's a pretty safe bet for a loco- the Intercity unit services are all branded as ICE. For info on exactly what your train is, have a look at Fernbahn, then click on Wagenreihungen DB-Fahrplan 2010 and find the train number which corresponds to your service.
