out-of-period i know, but the 1969 ScR sectional appendix has:

perth stn. - stanley jn = track circuit block

stanley jn. - aviemore sth. = electric token

aviemore nth. - culloden moor = tokenless block

culloden moor - inverness stn. = absolute block

thought there might be something on the s-r-s website at http://www.s-r-s.org.uk/archivesignals/brscotsig.html

1979 scheme for kingussie-culloden moor http://www.s-r-s.org.uk/archivesignals/brscot/1979-kingussie.pdf mentions track circuit block working will apply

1987 scheme for inverness http://www.s-r-s.org.uk/archivesignals/brscot/1987-inverness1.pdf mentions track circuit block from aviemore-inverness

but outside of these, don't know when any other changes might have been made
