Jack00 Posted December 22, 2012 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Hi everyone, finally got the broadband sorted...a few sundays ago, i captured Freightliner 66/9 at the Roskear signal box in charge of engineers trains commisioned by Colas. The pictures aren't very good, but i couldn't resist snapping them up from my car... The engineering works continued through the night and also much of December. At truro Network Rail depot, Colas have stuffed a tamper in the siding ( my guess would be that this is linked to much of the enginner works ) not sure if its still at Truro now. Jack. RMweb Premium Not Captain Kernow Posted January 4, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 4, 2013 Some of mine from the same possession: - 66 530 9th December 2012 at Camborne Some pictures from earlier - 2005 at Camborne with 67 007 with the up Postal Back in April 1985 and 50 019 "Ramilies" calls at Camborne with the 1200 Penzance to Plymouth Back to 1984 and 50 009 "Conqueror" passes Roskear Junction. I always thought this was a rubbish picture but now it is quite historic showing the branch to Holmans and associated signalling! A slightly better one at Roskear in 1984 with 50 020 "Revenge" heading up country. 50 018 "Resolution" passes Roskear with a Penzance bound train. 31 106 at Camborne in April 2006 with 31 105 at the other end Western Champion passes Roskear on 23rd July 2005 Finally some more of the possession in December 2012 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The building behind looks in good condition back then, it has since gone through to being derelict and then restored and converted to housing!
