flyingsignalman
I was looking through my "Visit to Mollington St " thread and I noticed that the date of the visit wasn't mentioned. I decided to edit the first post to include the date and when I got to the edit page, it was already there in the Topic Description space. Going back, without editing, I noticed that the Topic Description under the title was missing - as it is on all the topics of mine that I checked. Edwin_m
Seems to have gone missing on all topics since the problems of a week or so back. Would be nice to have it back when Andy gets a moment!
gordon s
Any news on this? I'm assuming you are referring to the second line that gives a further guide as to what the topic is about. In my ET thread I always used that line to show there was an update from me and some indication as to the work that had been done or the problem I was facing. Without that second line all updates become the same irrespective of source. Personally I find it very useful to understanding a little more of what the topic is likely to contain and would like to see it again on the VNC page. dave_long
Just thought I'd bump this, I too found/would find it useful to show an update/new question without changing the thread title. Seems a shame not to have them listed for others to see especially as the function exists in the op. Please.....
gordon s
I guess this has slipped by the wayside, but any chance of getting topic descriptions back? Personally I found it of use and it would have helped in Phil H's topic... http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/82209-point-motors/
