Glorious NSE
Looked at Marion and Fostoria in OH and it seems to work there also - like that you can also overlay the aerial map
Ohmisterporter
All I can see is a blue square. What am I doing wrong?

trisonic
Presumably the orange lines are the shared Conrail assets with Norfolk Southern? Look around the New York City /New Jersey area. I know it has the most interesting workings.... Best, Pete.
Chris Gilbert
I think so The light green are for shortlines I've found most of them in Florida Plenty of ideas for layouts here
Ohmisterporter
This works for me on IE but not Google Chrome. Potentialy hours of fun with this new toy I think.
Steve Williams
Works for me in Chrome. However, don't just copy and paste Chris' link. That won't work in Chrome. Copy and paste in IE and when it comes up, then copy THAT address which will be slightly longer, and put that into Chrome. Should work OK then. RMweb Premium Peter Beckett Posted December 29, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 29, 2012 We stayed at South St B & B earlier this year in Charlottesville and plenty of CSX freight over the back fence. Looking at the map the line is blue, green and dotted but does not seem to connect to the rest of their network? Peter

CraigZ
Interesting...not sure I'd take the map as gospel. The people at Norfolk Southern are going to be fascinated by CSX's map claiming that the track on the north/west side of Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC belongs to CSX...when it's NS's Glenwood Yard and has been that way since it was built by the original Norfolk Southern about 115 years ago ...and there's a couple of other strange things shown where the map 'claims' ownership of NS trackage... F-UnitMad
I never knew CSX reaches all the way to Schiller Park, Chicago....!! ...Soo Line territory...!! :D
Chilcompton
There are also some lines shown on the map which are no longer on the ground, such as the O&W through Oxford NY. As most modellers will only be looking for layout ideas and not planning to send anything by rail this is not a problem for us, but could be confusing to potential customers.
