Worthy
Hi all. I'm at my wits end now, and am hoping somebody here can help. Is there a manufacturer that makes 4mm headboard brackets as a detailing part. They're the brackets sported by Welsh class 37's, two just above the headcode box. Westerns also had them, but mounted below the headcode indicator. I've a couple of Class 37 modelling projects which are stalled at the moment for want of these small items. I'm sure I've seen reference to them before, but I've searched high and low, and come up with a blank. Any help will be hugely appreciated. RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted January 3, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 3, 2013 Hi Worthy Sorry I cant help with source for the clips. I can add that many Hymeks and Warships also had them. Hymeks above the headcode display. The Warships either side of the upper lamp iron. In my quick google search I noticed most Warships without them had no upper lamp iron. One loco only had one on the secondman's side. Heljan have moulded a resonable representation on the Hymek. The Bachmann Warship which dates back to the mainline range only has a pair of pimples. If someone does make them they would be useful for the Warships as well.
